The A7100 was the first 16-Bit personal computer of the GDR. The CCU was a K1810WM86. This chip is an accurate reproduction Intel 8086. The equipment was manufactured starting from 1986 by the VEB Robotron. The successor was the A7150. A 7100 was not PC compatible despite the Intel clone as processor. For this computer there was a diagram option, which worked ironically with tormenting a slow U 880 "“diagram processor"” and implemented GKS (see PHIGS).

  • Diagram: 640 X.400 pixel in the diagram mode (with inserted diagram option), 80x25 indication in the text mode, mono chrome
