The Robotron A7150 was a 16-Bit personal computer of the GDR. He came in the January of the yearly 1988 as a successor of A 7100 on the market.
Like A 7100 A 7150 uses a Russian i8086-Clone, the K1810WM86 as CCU. Owing to relevant business with the "capitalistic west" there was however a quantity of systems, which also with Intel were marketed 8086, occasionally even in combination with the Koprozessor 8087. The hardware was arranged in such a way the fact that A 7150 - contrary to A 7100 - (limited) was PC compatible. Accordingly also a clone ran from MS-DOS ("DCP"). The connection of a non removable disk was possible, and mostly by installation for 5.25 tariff non removable disk in the MFM format (Modified frequency modulation) was realized, their 20 and/or 40 MT amounted to.
