Appletalk session Protocol (ASP) is a term from computer science.
Appletalk session Protocol, or briefly ASP, is minutes that makes secured data transfer possible in an Appletalk net. ASP is an extension of the Appletalk Transaction Protocols and permits to two processes the exchange of transactions and instructions.
It is defined in RFC 1742.
