Cat5 is a specification of a wiring to the data communication, for example in the range network technology. In order to get a Cat5-Zertifikat, must the complete structure the following requirements fulfill.

ELFEXT(equal level far end to CROSS talc) relationship of the cross talking output level to the actual output level
ACR(Extinction of light ton CROSS talc reason) absorption over speech relationship
powersum NEXT ONES Achievement sum of the close cross modulation
powersum ELFEXTAchievement sum of the electromagnetic coupling at the distant cable end
powersum ACRAchievement sum absorption over speech relationship
Return LossReturn loss
NVP(nominally velocity OF propagation) signal running time retarded in relation to the speed of light in the vacuum
Propagation DelaySignal running time
Delay SkewSignal running time difference on different pairs of veins
