The FM Towns is between 1989 and 1997 a computer system sold in Japan. It was built by Fujitsu and oriented themselves at the hardware of the then usual PCs.

Although the equipment had very good technical equipment for the time around 1990, it never became known beyond Japan and is today an extreme rare piece. The meaning of the equipment shows up however in the fact that many computer games of the early 90's were portiert on the system - usually in higher quality (e.g. more colors, better sound).
