Loox or exact pockets Loox is a PDA series of Fujitsu Siemens. The devices are available only in Europe, Russia and the Near East (EMEA), since outside of this region only Fujitsu is active. Under similar designations and/or Design is since short also a Smartphone series available.

Loox 720

On 1 September 2004 Fujitsu Siemens brought the pocket Loox 720 on the market. He belonged to the first VGA pocket PC and is delivered with Windows mobile 2003 SE.

Plans, which planned first, the Loox 700 series with Windows mobile 5,0 to deliver and/or a Upgrade on the new operating system version offer were rejected, there the hardware the "“Persistent STORAGE"” - function of the operating system does not support.

The pockets Loox 720 Loox 710, which however something "“more weakly"” than the Loox 720 is equipped, resembles very the pocket.

In January 2005 the pockets Loox 718 became, the 3. Member of the 7xx series, brought on the market. Up to the missing camera this is identical to the pocket Loox 720.

With the time a large Community for this equipment, mainly in FirstLoox.org - forum, developed where many improvements and hidden features of the equipment were discovered, like e.g. Audio exit over the Sync and load interface, audio in over the jack headset-phone, and an independent activation of the VoIP loudspeaker.
