Hyper Neo geo 64 is a video game system of SNK. It is the successor of the popular Neo of geo system, was however appropriate for 3D-Grafik.
General information
SNK brought the hyper to Neo geo 64 1997 as plate for play halls. This step became necessarily, since the competition could already inspire the customers at the time with 3D-Spielen, the Neo geo, admits for its flogging plays, however not.

- CCU: 64-Bit RISC processor
- 4 MT RAM, 64 MT program memories
- Farbpalette: 16,7 million colors
- 96 MT Vertexspeicher, 16 MT texture memory
- 128 MT memory for Sprites, 64 MT for Sprite scrolling
- Sound: 32 channels, 44,1 kHz Samplingfrequenz, 32 MT Wavetable RAM
Despite the relatively good hardware specifications the HNG64 could not keep up with the competition at that time of Namco and Sega.
