The Linux magazine is a technical periodical, which is published by the Linux new Media AG. It contacts readers, that work professionally under the operating system Linux. The Linux magazine is the secondaryoldest magazine over Linux in Germany. The first expenditure appeared in October 1994 as newspaper of the DELUG. The Slogan of the magazine reads "the magazine for Linux Professionals ".
The magazine appears monthly on each first Thursday of a monthly. An expenditure costs 5.50 EUR in Germany, 6.30 EUR in Austria and 11.00 in the retail trade since the expenditure 11/2004 sfr in Switzerland.
