Palm a Handheld computer and/or a PDA (personnel digitally Assistant) is called, which runs with the operating system PalmOS. A Palm user Group, briefly PUG, actual similarly as with Linux user Groups - a group of Palm interested persons, who meet regularly. Although with many Palm user Groups of systems with PalmOS stand in the foreground, the interest of the "“Palmianer"” is not necessarily exclusively limited to this operating system.

PUGs organize themselves independently and are in many cities and circles. There is no roof federation, however such a thing like "“language pipes"” of the scene. When one could designate such within the range of the Federal Republic of Germany the Website Nexave, which represents the largest privately operated portal for PalmOS devices in Germany. On the occasion of the CeBit Nexave organizes the so-called PUM (Palm user Meeting) annually, a Germany-far meeting of PUGs and Palm interested in Hanover.
