The PC WORLD is the present-strongest appearing monthly computer magazine in Germany. The first edition appeared in November 1983, the magazine is thereby one of the oldest German computer magazines. Editor-in-chief is at present (conditions: March 2006) Andreas Perband.Die target group of the PC world is the ambitionierte a riser, in addition, advanced users are addressed. End of the 1990er publishes the magazine the article "„Windows 95 unauthorisiert "“(expenditure 03/1998) that the composition of the CD key described. The PC world appears in the publishing house that internationally DATA Group (IDG), which publishes numerous folders in many countries in the world beside the US-American sister magazine PC-WORLD. Edition

The sold edition is with 420.530 copies (as per IVW III/2005). The PC world has to fight with problems, lay the edition in the years 2002 and 2003 nevertheless usually with over 500.000 sold copies.
