The company snom technology AG is a German manufacturer of VoIP telephones with seat in Berlin.

The enterprise was created 1996 and worked until 1999 within the portable radio range. Afterwards the enterprise began with the development of VoIP telephones, like snom 100 on the basis of H.323. For this the Snom of 100 as "“Best OF show"” was distinguished in the year 2000 on the CeBIT. Today by the snom terminals the SIP standard is only supported.
