The WCM - Computer newspaper (1992 based as a Viennese computer market) of the FSL of publishing house is beside E-Media one of the most important magazines for the IT-industry of Vienna and has contrary to this a very good reputation with persons of the domestic IT-industry. It is considered therefore as a smaller version of the magazine c't, because than typical final user magazines as for instance to CHIP or PC world.
The magazine appears since a Relaunch in February 2006 monthly (in former times about two times per month, 21 times per year), with a pressure edition of approx. 22,750 copies 3. Quarter 2004) and a price of 2,90 euro (before the Relaunch 1.90 euro) per expenditure. It predominantly addresses itself to experienced users, buyers or merchandisers as well as Entscheider and system administrators in KMUs and large-scale enterprises.
With the Relaunch of the magazine the past production procedure (printed on newsprint and loose sheets, therefore often as "PC crown" scoffs and particularly of new readers unjustified-proved in a similarly qualitative hit a corner seen) was replaced by magazine Look more up-to-date and a full-colored.
The advantage over other media in this section is in platform independence and broad varying of the topic areas (hardware and Assembling, networks, Internet technologies, mobile Computing, software, Multimedia and Entertainment). With the Relaunch one would like to also try to accomplish more extensive and more detailed tests from the view of the user.
