The Zuse Z4 was one of Konrad Zuse developed calculating machine, which was built from 2200 relays. It had a mechanical memory, which could take up 64 numbers. Institut for applied mathematics of professor Stiefel at the ETH Zurich bought in the year 1950 the only from postwar confusions saved and of the Zuse kg repaired copy of the Z4.
